If you have ever shopped around for car insurance you'll know that the market is highly competitive with more than 100 insurers to choose from. However, when it comes to finding car insurance for rally cars or classic vehicles you may find that your options are more limited if you want a policy that truly reflects your needs.

Karting Championship 4th Round
Written by Dan O'Neill

The O’Neill Ring in the Rain

Before we get into what happened that night I’d just like to say a big thank you to all of those who came and it was nice to see some lifers turn up!

The venue: Raceland outdoor track...in the wet...with slicks...spells disaster

As we arrived at Raceland, everything was already set, the track was damp, the karts had rai...dry! tires on and the floodlights were lit (take notice of the word ‘flood’ in floodlight).

After everyone was kitted out in wet overalls and a helmet we had another safety briefing before a few practice laps were given, just so we could calibrate our braking distances for the corners (which were on thescale of an aircraft carrier trying to dock into port) and get a feel for the karts in the wet.

EUMSC Karting Championship Exhibition Event!
Written by Leslie Mabon

Date: Tuesday 23 December 2008
Venue: Tama Tech, Tokyo

With only pride and no points at stake, many of the series regulars opting to sit out the long-haul leg, however former EUMSC club champion Leslie Mabon made the long trip and was greeted by a huge crowd at Tokyo's Narita Airport (unfortunately, all but one member of the crowd were actually awaiting the arrival of Manchester United for the world club championship, whose flight was due to touch down only twenty minutes later).

EUMSC Karting Championship: 3rd Round
Written by Matt Holland

Having braved the cold, and the traffic leaving Edinburgh, we eventually arrived only a half hour late for some Xtreme karting in Falkirk. After skating our way into the reception area, a quick look at the track led to some instant praise, the bridge and underpass looking particularly interesting.

The safety briefing video was one of a kind, and a good thing too...otherwise who’d have known how many people would have struggled to get into, or been black flagged for sticking their legs out of, the karts. Eventually, some practising was underway, and there was action from the off. Despite the no-competition situation, there were still a large number of contretemps negotiating the tricky braking on the descent from the bridge. However, that was nothing compared to happenings as the evening wore on.
